CINEMA REHIYON: Day 2 - Gabby 24/7

Pipe and Julius are BACOLLYWOOD delegates.

Gabby, Director of MANA is a delegate from Manila.

Gabby was with us for BACOLLYWOOD in Bacolod last week for BACOLLYWOOD and now he's here in Davao for Cinema Rehiyon. It's like de ja vu.

This morning, Gabby showed us some of his work.

And then we went to Gaisano Mall of Davao.

We spent the day watching screenings by filmmakers from Mindanao.

Gabby liked the films.

This is how long the lines were for the Cinema Rehiyon screenings.

Hooray for Gabby!

Gabby speaks about being acting coach for SHEIKA as Director Arnel Mardoquio listens to his wisdom.

After the screenings, at MTS, everyone wants to hang out with Gabby.

L-R: Pipe, Director Mannie (HANDUM/Antique), Gabby, Director Ted (BELLS RING, MR. KING/Bohol), Julius, Director Arnel (SHEIKA/Davao)

On the streets of Davao

BACOLLYWOOD 3.5: From Sugar Cane to Durian

Good morning! All packed and ready to go?

It's early.

It's so early that fog rolls over the sugar cane fields.

It's so early that we watch the sun rise in Silay.

Some of us are Morning People.

Bye-bye, Bacolod!

Hello, Cebu!

Manny (Curator), Pipe (Delegate) and Julius (Delegate) spend as much time as they can in the Smoking Lounge.

While Lorely (Publicity) is almost awake.

While on the flight...

Pipe is ready for take off

Lorely, regrets that the guys made her eat all that chicharon a few minutes before boarding

And Julius wins a prize!

We like the flight attendants. Even if they refused the chicharon we offered to share with them.

Hello, Davao!

We know we are in Davao because there is a sign welcoming us....

And a gigantic sculpture of a durian.

Cinema Rehiyon Coordinator RJay meets us at the airport. Some of us stand in the shade waiting for the van. It's hot over here.

Checked into our hotel, freshened up and ready to hit the streets.

And the streets here have rules.
